DJ Smith; a 21-year-old Baltimore born, OvaEast raised Photographer, Filmmaker, and Visual Artist currently attending Maryland Institute College of Art. He got his start as a photographer in 6th grade and he worked as a creative pro through his teen years. His photography has been featured in numerous publications and gallery exhibitions and he has helped design mural and public art projects in the East Baltimore neighborhood where he grew up. He recently visited Ghana with da Afrikan Youth Academy, Griot’s eye program.
